50th Wedding Anniversary Card

I was asked by a friend to make a 50th Wedding Anniversary card and this is what I came up with. The tags are stickers which I placed on to gold paper for the background. Overall, I think it worked out great!

Fun Cards that move....

Today, I have two cards to share with you. Both of the cards have images on there, that have the bottom section that can swing from side to side when the card is tilted.

The Robot has the arms, legs and the body that move.

Male Themed Cards

Today I have a couple of cards that I made for Swap. The theme for the month was to make 2 male cards. Must admit I struggled a bit with this one. I'm happy with the way the cards turned out.

The car has been hand stitched - the pattern is from Stitching Cards.

Hope you enjoyed looking at today's creations.

Acetate Cards

Today I have four cards to share with you, where I have used acetate on each of these in different ways.
With this first card, the acetate flower on the left hand side has been cut out using a Cuttlebug die.
This second card, I've added a section of acetate to the front of the card.
For the third card, I've embossed the acetate front section of the card.
With this last card, the butterfly has been stamped on to the acetate scalloped circle and then I've added gold paint to the back of the acetate.
Thanks for looking at today's cards.

"A" Swap Cards

Today, I have two cards that I would like to share with you. They are cards that I made for a swap. The theme for the month is to have something on your card as the main feature/embellishment starting with the letter "A".

The first one is an Alien card - I have paper pieced the alien, which I then placed on to an embossed piece of card, which I sanded a little bit.

The second card is what I call the Apple card. This was my first attempt at making this type of card. The apple also has been paper pieced.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my creations today.

40th Birthday Card Request

I was asked by a friend to make a 40th birthday card - with a fishing theme - for her son-in-law. I was a bit stumped as to what to do, so I went to Crafts U Print and thought I would give the 3d fishing easel card a go.
My first attempt didn't go too well. The photo below is of the finished second attempt. Needless to say that Kevin loved the card. The photo doesn't do it justice - the fish is hanging freely on fishing line off the rod.

I'm back....and Trains

Where has the last month gone??? I'm back again after a short break. While I've been away, I have spent quality time with my sister (who was visiting from Townsville), as well as with my family.

I have been busy making things, and I hope to share them with you all shortly.

Over the next few days (maybe a couple weeks) I want to share some projects that I have made over the past.

One of neighbours, Bob, loves trains. So I made these for him. The patterns are available from
Form-A-Lines Stitching Cards. I put them in frames, so that he'll be able to put them up on his wall.
